Jesus, the sure foundation of our faith, embodies God's love and grace. He is the eternal Son of God, equal to God in every way, as indicated in John 10:30, which states, 'I and the Father are one.' He was manifest in the flesh as the long-awaited Messiah, the Christ, fulfilling the prophecy in Isaiah 9:6, 'For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.'
Jesus offers salvation to all who believe in Him through His life, death, and resurrection. As stated in John 3:16, 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.' As the Son of God, He exemplifies the perfect union of divinity and humanity, providing a bridge between God and humankind, as mentioned in 1 Timothy 2:5, 'For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.' Jesus is the ultimate Savior, offering hope, redemption, and eternal life to those who accept Him as their Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 affirms, 'If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.'
In our fellowship, we revere Jesus as the cornerstone of our faith, as in 1 Peter 2:6, 'For in Scripture it says: 'See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.' Jesus is the ultimate example of love, as seen in John 15:13, 'Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends,' and the source of our strength and comfort, as expressed in Matthew 11:28, 'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.' May we honor, serve, and follow Jesus, the cornerstone of our faith and the epitome of God's love and grace.
